PRINCETON, NJ: November 5, 2014: Business intelligence leader, ORC International announces its ORC International Development Program (ORCID) for new graduates and entry-level researchers.
The two year training and development program that started in January 2014, couples new
graduates and entry-level researchers with seasoned researchers and subject matter experts to
gain exposure to the latest business trends, research technologies and methodologies. The
program also focuses on developing important business skills including critical thinking, data
analysis, communication, and client development.
Trainees work side-by-side with research teams on projects focused on customer, employee,
marketing, and strategy-related research needs and will learn by:
• Identifying the latest trends and providing insight to industry professionals
• Storytelling through data – effectively communicating conclusions to steer clients’ strategies
• Creating visually appealing client presentations
• Conducting quality control – ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data
• Building questionnaires that align with clients’ objectives and initiatives
“The main driver of the program is to train and develop talent that is skilled in the art of
manoeuvring in today’s market research environment. The industry is changing drastically and
giving new graduates exposure to new methodologies, technologies and methods of analyzing
data, will help them hone skills for their success in the future.” said Walter Dempsey, Executive Vice

The program currently has 25 trainees in the US and is currently recruiting online; as well
participating in several national career consortium events and at career fairs at the following
universities: University of Chicago, Northwestern University, Miami of Ohio, Boston College, Boston
University, Xavier University, University of St. Thomas (Minnesota) and the University of Minnesota
in Minneapolis, among others.
